His name is originated from the anime-manga series "Jojo's Bizzare Adventure" by Hirohiko Araki, the name of the feeder is similar to the name of the show. The Name itself "Dio" is the name of one of the villians in the series '''Dio Brando''', a blonde muscular  vampire.
