im gonna put page wips here becasuse i | pls dont be weird about cat breeds, breeds are a finicky concept that cat breeders are uniquely extra weird about in comparison to other animals. breeds are groups of an animal that have same characteristics within that grouping, many breeds of many animals did not come about deliberately or for a deliberate purpose and the shift towards prioritizing pedigree over the animals characteristics has led to the overall decline in breed standards and health. many breeds are called the exact same thing as the breed was called before other breeds were intentionally introduced into it ffs. and as many more conceptual things, animal breeds are thought of/conceptualized differently between many cultures. if a cat looks like a ragdoll im gonna call it a goddamn ragdoll even if i dont know its bloodline history | ||
