[[Mr. Dao]] is a cat that frequents the [[Baldie Carrot, the Cats' Protector|Duck Feeder]], but his first appearance date is not exactly known. He was first documented on March 10th, but he was spotted many times before then. Mr. Dao received his name from the yin-yang symbol on his forehead as "Dao" means "the path" and is associated with balance and harmony.

 

Mr. Dao went missing for over a month on June 15, 2024. Randomly, on July 26, 2024, Mr. Dao suddenly came back to the feeder. It is unknown where he went, but the community is greatly relieved to see him safe.

[[Mr. Dao]] is mostly white, with some patches of black on his rear and his face. He also has a mustache similar to [[Mr. Squeeze]], although Mr. Dao's frame is much smaller in addition to his grey and black striped tail that resembles a raccoon.  

* '''March 22, 2024:''' Mr. Dao was spotted having an early morning snack at around 02:40 AM (LFT). He would occasionally pause and stare into the distance as fresh kibble was dispensed.

**At 6:53 AM (LFT), Mr. Dao was finally sighted at the feeder. He seemed slightly skinnier than before and had some dirt on his ear and below his eye, but otherwise looked normal. He ate some kibble and watched his surroundings. At 6:58 AM, [[Mr. Simba]] approached, who he hissed at. He left at around 7:00 AM.

**At 10:39 PM (LFT), Mr. Dao was again seen at the feeder. He ate some food while looking around. After eating, he left at 10:43 PM.  

*'''July 27, 2024:''' At 3:07 AM (LFT), Mr. Dao approached [[Ms. Opera]] at the feeder. She got scared and hissed at him. After a couple minutes of staring at eachother, Ms. Opera ran off into the night. Mr. Dao ate happily and then left at 3:17 AM.
