How do we make sure the kittens’ cafeteria is always full? Well, It’s not magic—it’s smart infrared tech that makes sure the food keeps coming!
=== First Feeder ===

The first feeder made is the most distinct of all, due to the fact it’s fully made of wood and has no cameras; meaning it cannot be viewed. It has a plastic bowl of [[Kibble]] alongside a water bottle and a bowl of water. It also is way more house-like in appearance compared to the other feeder models due to its roof. For more info on the original feeder, read the [[Purrrr]] post surrounding it below
== Infrared Sensors for Empty Bowls ==

When the food in the bowl gets low, the infrared sensor detects it instantly! No need for prayers—just a quick signal to remind the sweet guys in the live room and keep the kittens happy!

== Dual Food Barrels for the Perfect Meal ==

The latest cat houses use infrared to track both kibble and freeze-dried food levels. If the barrel’s almost empty, the infrared sensor checks, but we also use an algorithm to ensure an accurate food level reading. When it’s time, the system alerts the team to refill!

===="Legend says that if a kitten prays sincerely at the cat house, delicious food will fall from the sky."====

We just uncovered the inside story of the cat house ideal, and it’s too good not to share!

==1. A Simple Wish: “Cats Should Always Have Food!”==
Two years ago, during the pandemic, DaNiu (aka the street cat boss) missed his mom’s breakfast two days in a row. Why? Because mom was out early feeding the stray cats in the neighborhood.
To make sure both he and the cats could eat, the idea of the smart cat house was born.

==2. The First Cat House: A Handcrafted Wooden Hut==
The first cat house was a humble wooden hut, lovingly crafted by the team. It had a simple setup: a camera, an automatic water bowl, and a feeder.
When the first batch of kittens came to eat, the entire office huddled around a monitor, giggling as they watched the cats on the camera.

====The first wooden hut is still sitting at our office entrance. Every time we pass by, we’re reminded of the promise we made to the cats. And today, we’re one step closer to feeding every single one of them!====
