He was sighted many times before he was named on March 10th, but his appearance on that day was what made him stand out. He was seen sadly waiting in front of the empty feeder for 5 minutes, before leaving right after someone fed him. He waited very patiently, giving him his name (due to the phrase "patience is a virtue".) His name also comes from the black spot on his back that resembles a heart.
