This, of course, leads people to compare him with other cats such as [[Brother Calm]] or [[Mr. Virtue]], who are also known for their patience when waiting for food.

As mentioned above, not only did he not receive any food while waiting for 30 minutes, but the food was dropped only after he left; this is just one of the many incidents that occurred while he was present. There were instances where the camera lost connection and the feeder lights failed, which happened around four times, leaving the feeder in darkness. However, despite these setbacks Mr. Misfortune patiently waited for his long-awaited food, which never arrived. These occurrences have led people to believe that this cat is cursed to have bad luck throughout his entire life.
