Serif: Difference between revisions

Serif is a grey and white cat that appears at [[A Litter of Cats Who Love Each Other]]. He is named for his similar appearance to Sans, the only other grey and white cat known to have visited the feeder. He showed up a couple of months after Sans's last sighting, and has since become a regular visitor to the feeder. Serif's age is unknown, but he is believed to be an older cat. Serif was first sighted by the global community on August 23, 2024.   

Serif has mostly good relations with other cats. He is not known to be antagonistic, and he neither starts problems with other cats nor responds to other cats' (such as Lance's) attempts to have a confrontation. He enjoys laying outside the feeder while other cats are inside. He is not afraid to try and eat while other cats are in the feeder. Rob and Lance have hissed at Serif before, and Mack was scared of Serif the first time he saw him, but quickly got used to him. No other cats seem to have a problem with Serif. He can sometimes be seen relaxing with [[George]] and [[Bill]].  

Serif is a grey and white cat. He was discovered to be a different cat from Serif when looking at his back pattern, which has white spotting throughout (Sans's back was entirely grey). They grey on his back extends in a jagged formation down his sides. There is some grey on his front legs; his back legs are entirely white. His tail is grey.

For several weeks, Serif suffered from a skin condition which caused his fur to fall out and his skin to look unwell. However, he has since mostly healed from this condition, and now just looks like a regular scrunkly old man.   

* '''August 23, 2024:''' Around 4:40 AM (LFT), Serif was sighted for the first time. At that time, it was thought he was Sans, because of their similar appearance. However, a look at their back patterns confirmed that Serif was a different cat. While at the feeder, he hung out and ate some kibble.  

* '''August 31, 2024:''' At 9:00 AM (LFT), Serif was seen laying at the bowl, eating kibble. More kibble was dropped, and he ate some before leaving at 9:02.

** At 9:54 PM (LFT), Serif was seen eating kibble and snacks. More of both was dropped, and he happily ate, making some funny faces in the process. He left at 9:57.

* '''September 24, 2024:''' Around 8:05 PM (LFT), Serif entered the feeder while Bill was asleep and began eating. Bill was not bothered by this.  

* '''September 27, 2024:''' At 2:06 PM (LFT), Serif entered the feeder and sat down in front of the empty bowl. Kibble was dropped, and he ate some. He retreated into the bushes at 2:17.  

* '''October 9, 2024:''' At 1:25 PM (LFT), Serif was seen passed out with his head in the bowl while [[Brutus]] sat outside the feeder, looking at him.

* '''October 14, 2024:''' At 6:58 AM (LFT), Serif was seen sitting outside the feeder while George ate. George looked back at Serif, watched Serif scratch himself for a minute, then left. After George was gone, Serif entered the feeder and ate some kibble before passing out at the bowl.
