The Exploration Era: Difference between revisions

On May 2, 2024, the Moroccan youtuber “Yahiamice” would make a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuGQ8XZlF98 video] which is a shortened version of his [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdOtFtNqCX8 stream VOD] published on March 24, 2024, were he messed around with the wiki and [https://meow.camera meow.camera]. This video is probably the most popular non-meme HelloStreetCat video and is one of the most viewed videos on his channel. This would give a lot of popularity to the website and wiki, apart from having [[Boo]] renamed multiple times.

Due to [[Mr. Snack]] having an injury in his ear, he was taken to be treated and later adopted. This would be an important event in this era, but unlike [[Mr. Fresh]], this did not mark the end as it didn’t change the English or Chinese community significantly.

This special event happened in June & July when a rise in kittens was discovered. Sometimes these kittens were abandoned (some were adopted by other cats, although very rarely). Some examples of this would be [[Pinto]] and [[Bean]]. Fortunately, a lot were raised by their mothers, such as [[Mrs. Island]] (off-camera), [[Mr. Sun]], and [[Bob]].

The 2024 famine struck the [[Happy Canteen]] feeder on the 6th of June causing there to be not a single snack crumb for 15 hours. As [[Mr. Turkey]] developed stomatitis, a [[Mechanical Trap Room|Trap]] was set in the [[Happy Canteen]] to be able to catch and cure him. He entered the trap on the 18th of July and was taken by HSC’s personnel at 3:15 AM (LFT). He stayed in the adoption center for a few days until…

[[Mr. Turkey|Turkey]] decided to do something legendary on the 26th of August and escape the center, he went on to do an impressive walk to the [[Happy Canteen|Happy Canteen/]][[Auspicious Restaurant]] park which would take 1 hour to drive to from his adoption center.  

He made his return on the 31st of August, visiting various feeders of the park, and doing his now iconic funny faces until he was adopted sometime before September 16th. His saga would continue in the Renaissance Period (below)

On October 9, 2024, [[Happy Canteen]] was once again struck with famine. With no kibble left and barely any snacks, the cats had to resolve to eating the small leftover pieces of kibble, with some even licking the feeder clean. Eventually, both the kibble and snacks were restocked at sometime during the late afternoon and the cats went right back to feasting.  

Unfortunately, the cats’s happiness couldn’t last long because two days later on October 11, 2024''',''' famine would strike again.

This period is composed by multiple events, all sharing the theme of something from the past returning or a popular feeder getting an important “update” (By this I don’t mean the caretaker adding a toy, but it going back online or having a ton of new cats arriving) . This period englobes event happening from the months of September to October

*[[Mr. Despair]] : His feeder would be found at the 1st of August, 2024, and he would appear in October 8, 2024. He would go on to be a common visitor alongside his children glazing us with his depression.

*[[Blessings Be With You|Mr. Happy's Feeder]] : [[Blessings Be With You]], known for being the home of [[Mr. Happy]] would become active again on September 29, 2024, bringing around Halloween themed decor for October  

*[[Mrs. Dress]] : She would return from her stay in the vet at the 28th of September, with the [[Caretaker]] bringing with her return a new bed and, later in the 14th of October, changing the back camera to show the beds above the feeder

*[[Big Faced Brother]]: After a 3 month hiatus, [[BFB]] would show up at the 10th of October

*[[Mr. Turkey|Mr. Turkey's]] adoption: He would go on to permanently move into [[Brother Fresh’s Exclusive Castle CatMojo]], with [[Mr. Fresh]] being slightly intimidated not showing as often but still seeming more confident that with [[Mr. Snack]] when he was temporarily residing there

*[[GOODCAT]] : It would start to have a plethora of new cats arriving at the feeder for unknown reasons
