Mr. Carpet Beetle is a cat that appears at the 猫咪快乐の秘密屋 (The Secret House of Happy Cats) feeder. His name comes from the fact that when viewed from above, his coat is reminiscent of a Carpet Beetle.

Behavior

As he has only been seen a couple of times so far, Mr. Carpet Beetle's behavior is mostly unknown. He appears to have beef with another, currently unnamed, cat at the feeder, having been chased away by them and meowed at for a long period of time.

Like most cats at the feeder, he appears to be easily startled and constantly on the lookout.

Appearance

His coat is a darker brown / black, with patches of lighter brown. He is easily identifiable by the small light patch on his mouth, making it look like he is drooling.

Sightings

March 23rd, 2024: Mr. Carpet Beetle's first known sighting was at 10:03 PM (local feeder time). He sat and ate kibble for around five minutes before spotting another cat and exiting the feeder. He stood behind the feeder, just in view of the camera for a couple of minutes, while another cat could be seen slowly approaching him. The other cat eventually pounced at him and chased him out of view. The two of them could be heard loudly meowing at eachother for around thirty minutes.
March 25th, 2024: At around 7:20 PM (local feeder time), he was spotted eating some kibble.
March 26th, 2024: He showed up at 12:56 AM (local feeder time) for a snack. He returned at 4:48 AM (local feeder time) but promptly left after discovering the food bowl had already been emptied by Mr. Slice.
March 31st, 2024: Mr. Carpet Beetle was spotted snacking on some kibble at 6:15 AM (local feeder time)
April 3rd, 2024: Mr. Carpet Beetle arrived at 11:36 PM (local feeder time) for some kibble. Another cat was seen stalking him from the shadows, leaving him on edge for the duration of his meal. The other cat was seen circling the feeder around 8 minutes later, causing Mr. Carpet Beetle to flee.
April 9th, 2024: He arrived for a quick snack at 12:07 AM (local feeder time)
April 11th, 2024: Mr. Carpet Beetle arrived at 6:24 AM (local feeder time). He pawed at a leaf in the food bowl, thinking it could be edible but was sadly disappointed. After around a minute of being in the feeder, he was scared off when he heard Mr. Sand Flea approaching.
