You can go back in time in the stream to record videos after up to minutes after they happened. This ability is limited if you do lots of camera switching since you can only go back to the point you switched to that camera.
Same thing applies if you miss a good picture opportunity
When you see a cat doing something sighting worthy or a rare cat stick around till they leave if you can. You can identify them later using pictures. This can help not write 1 sentence sightings although some cats like Mr. Rev don't deserve more than 1 sentence >:(
I use Video Trimmer and Adobe gif converter to make gif's. Both are completely free.
Quality of life improvements
It looks slightly better on the history page to make one big edit rather than several small ones. Maybe store cat sightings on a Google doc.
Mrs. Eeper world record setting stretch.Read about previous sightings and the cat's behaviour to see if what they are doing is strange for them or part of a pattern (e.g. Mrs. Kirby patiently waits for food)
