Mr. Balls first appeared at the Happy Canteen (Mr Snacks 1) feeder, and earned his name by showing his testicles to the camera for a long period of time.

Mr. Balls has been seen once, first appearing when Ms. Takeout was enjoying some kibble and startled her by just walking into the feeder, Ms. Takeout took out and he proceeded to go in and eat, generally pretty calm but felt the need to show the camera his round balls for a bit.

There was some heated contention in regards to a potential name when Mr. Balls was first sighted. Some thought the name “Mr. Balls” was too generic, boring, and predictable—as well as confusing, as Mr. Chicken is also sometimes unofficially referred to as “Mr. Balls”.

Other name ideas have included “Mr. Flash”, “Mr. Valentine”, “Mr. Frog”, and “Mr. Exhibitionist”.
