A Litter of Cats Who Love Each Other (相亲相爱一窝猫) is a feeder in the Hello Street Cat app. Previously, one side of the feeder was open, while the other side was covered with what appeared to be a black tarp. For the winter season, viewers bought supplies for the feeder, which include a clear, insulating tarp that drapes down both sides of the feeder, and a mat depicting cats in a winter scene that lines the feeder's floor. Through the Front View camera, a building can be seen outside the feeder with a bucket and other items in front of it. Bushes and trees are seen outside the feeder through the Back View camera.
This feeder is most famous for Bob, an orange cat with a cleft lip that makes funny expressions at the camera. Ironically, many of the cats at the feeder do not love each other, and throughout the feeder's history, countless confrontations and fights have taken place. Several cats, including Bob, have ended up on the receiving side of aggression from some of the feeder's most hostile cats (like Maurice). Though no cat has ever been seriously injured in these confrontations, they still exercise additional caution at the feeder (such as looking outside for extended periods of time when chicken snacks are dropped) because of these experiences. Kittens have learned to crawl into the gap directly under the feeder, where adult cats can't reach, when the adults become aggressive with them or each other. The cats rarely form friendships with each other, although it has happened (George, notably, is friendly with several of the adult female cats, and Bill and Mack have a very close friendship).
When the first few discovered cats were named, the feeder lacked a strong naming theme, and names were pulled from a variety of influences, including -ob names for cats who looked similar to Bob (Rob, Cob), Undertale characters (Sans; this name's additional use as a letterform inspired the name of the similar-looking cat Serif), and Dragon Ball characters (Vegeta). As the number of cats discovered grew, a more solid yet quite complex naming scheme developed for the cats. Starting with George, the cats' names have followed this theme:
- The cats' names do not have titles or honorifics (e.g. Mr., Ms.).
- All cats, regardless of sex, have stereotypically male names.
- Kittens' names relate to their mother's names, often in creative ways. Oftentimes, a piece of historical, scientific, or literature knowledge is used to give kittens names related to their mother's (such as Dame Knight's children being named after Knights of the Round Table).
