-After the previous naming of [[Ms. Halo]] (formerly Ms. Lobotomy) being by the YouTube Chat, the discord server has been on guard with the names they create. As the previous name being of something possibly offensive or could cause controversies. As well as it being fun to engage in some banter with each other. The name Dr. Smudge was concluded upon in the Discord server, as Mr. Addict didn't correlate well with the cat.
-Discord users 'flynnscorner.' and 'mrmistakomaker' cooperatively came up with the name "Dr. Smudge", with Discord user "connorbutlost" originally suggesting the idea for the "Dr." prefix. There was a poll that won by a majority of 17 reactions out of 3 options total. YouTube users made the original name, "Mr. Addict" and Youtube user 'GalaxyExpress'  was the one to originally make his wiki page.
