Mr. Chaperone is a tabby cat who stays at Big Man's Cat Houses. He got his name from following around the kittens of the feeder and taking care of them. Originally from the outside feeder, he now stays inside waiting for an adopter.
Behavior
Mr. Chaperone likes to watch and follow around the kittens. When he is not following them, he takes the time to sleep. When he eats, his eyes will squint strangely and he can take a long time to chew something.
Appearance
Mr. Chaperone is a big (seemingly the biggest in the shelter) brown tabby cat. He has fluffy cheeks and a pink nose. He has stripes running along his back, which has shorter fur due to him being shaved. As of around July 24, 2024, he has had a bright red scarf/collar around his neck.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 17, 2024: Mr. Chaperone ate some chicken snacks at the mini feeder.
- July 18, 2024: Mr. Chaperone looked very grumpy as a grey kitten (Ms. Pearl or Ball) joined him for a meal at the mini feeder.
- July 19, 2024:
- July 20, 2024: Sometime in the evening, Mr. Chaperone watched over his unnamed 6th child and a grey kitten eat.
- July 21, 2024:
- At 3:10 AM (LFT), Mr. Chaperone was seen curled up in the tree bed watching 5 kittens play with a toy. One of his kittens, possibly his unnamed 6th child, approached him. The kitten affectionately rubbed against him while Mr. Chaperone licked them.
- At around 2 PM (LFT), Mr. Chaperone ate some dried rabbit blood from the mini feeder.
- July 24, 2024:
- At 11:08 AM (LFT), Mr. Chaperone and his 6th child slept on the sofa together.
- Sometime in the afternoon, Mr. Chaperone walked across the room wearing a red scarf. He approached the mini feeder and stood there, staring ominously. Afterward, he climbed onto the shelves at the back of the room.
- At 6:49 PM (LFT), Mr. Chaperone watched one of his kittens (possibly unnamed 6th child) eat from the mini feeder. After the kitten left, he walked away.
- At 8:01 PM (LFT), Mr. Chaperone enjoyed some chicken snacks at the mini feeder. At 8:15 PM, he was seen walking around the room with one of his kittens following him. At 8:43 PM, he was lying on the floor while a grey kitten played close behind him.
- July 25, 2024: At 5:01 PM (LFT), Mr. Chaperone sat on the sofa with one of his kittens. After cleaning, they curled up together. A grey kitten slept soundly close by.
