Explanation
The Ta- / Them- Feeders consist of 20 feeders, usually consisting in shelters, that have the infamous Ta- at the start of their name in exchange for sponsoring and resources. All of the feeders are controlled by their individual Caretaker and a main Caretaker that oversees and sponsors the Feeders.

Them
Both the “Ta-” word at the start of all phrases and some Chinese characters used in Feeders of the collective and as placeholder for Unamed cats use gender neutral mandarin characters
Explanation on gender neutral characters
"TA-" here is most likely referring to the character set for Chinese third-person pronouns (Chinese third-person pronouns are all pronounced "tā", no matter the English equivalent), I personally believe it's using the "牠" character because of the names as mentioned afterwards, but could also have been left ambiguous to symbolize "everyone, no matter the gender or species" the base Chinese third-person pronoun (/the original Chinese third-person pronoun) is the gender-neutral 他 which merges the characters of 人 (human) and 也 (too), usually people just use this character because it's gender-neutral and also out of habit but after 1917 when they had to translate the English word "she" into Chinese, they ended up making a new word that's dedicated to women/fem people 她 which merges 女 (female) and 也 (too) however, theres also a separate third-person pronoun(?) 它 that's dedicated to animals/objects/non-living things/not humans which is the Chinese equivalent of "it", this one merges the 宝盖头 (aka 宀, which is like the "room/area" radical) and 也 (too) which brings me to the fact that they used a very specific character that is usually considered an oddity, 牠, which is used as an "it" BUT in reference to animals because it merges the characters of 牛 (cow) and 也 (too)
- basically:
- 他 - gender-neutral, original, he/she/they, these days moreso refer to he/they
- 她 - she
- 它 - it (animals/objects)
- 牠 - it (animals), not normally used as people would use the one above instead, miscellaneous variant character
- "TA" - most likely referring to 他,她,它,牠 hell you can even toss in a 祂 (gender-neutral, for gods) too if you want
- Credits to Kayoko Sudou for the explanation
Nicknames
The Feeders sometimes have the Caretaker's nickname in their name, hence things such as Woof Woof and M Bro
