The Sparks refer to the three tuxedo kittens of Ms. Ember, collectively known as ‘Ms. Ember and her Sparks’, appearing in the Eat Enough Every Day (每天都能吃饱饱) feeder. They are aptly named Ash, Soot and Cinder, due to being a product of Ms. Ember, whose appearance parallels a burning piece of coal; like sparks from a fire. They are Ms. Ember's second litter and presumed younger siblings to Ms. Covergirl. The Sparks are the second trio of tuxedo kittens to appear in this feeder, after the Coal Miners.
As of June 3rd 2024, the Sparks seem to be 4-5 weeks old and are often seen accompanying their mother to the feeder, eating inside the feeder bowl and playing and running around the area, suggesting their nest may be close by. This is further backed up due to the fact the Sparks often come on their own to the feeder.
Behavior
The Sparks seem to be very playful, energetic and inquisitive, running around and tackling each other around the feeder but are usually seen eating. They often come solitarily, showing their confidence, and all three are rarely seen together. However they are wary and fearful of other cats, as seen when one of them, Cinder, puffed up and yowled after encountering Ms Pegmatite during a feeding session.
Appearance
1st Spark - Ash
Has a white snout, a black splotch on the nose area, white front legs with black patches behind them with the right leg having a bigger 'band' or 'bracelet' which can be seen from the front. They have white hind legs from below the knee, and a white patch on their black pelt near their left leg. They also appear to have stripes in the sunlight on closer inspection.
2nd Spark - Cinder
Seems to have identical, distinctive 'bands' of black fur around front legs, mittens being white except for one toe on their right paw. Has a black nose, a black patch on the center of their snout, and black chin covering under their entire lower jaw. They have white mittens on the front legs, and white fur on the back legs from the knees down.
3rd Spark - Soot
Has adorable white 'toes' on the front legs, rest of them being black. The left back leg has white mittens while their right back leg is white from the knee down. They have a fully black snout including the nose and a black chin. There is white fur under the lower jaw. They are theorised to be male due to a sighting on May 30th 2024, but this is currently unconfirmed.
Sightings
May 2024
- May 16, 2024: At Approximately 5:10 AM (LFT), Street Cats Wiki Discord users noticed Soot approaching the feeder and having a look around. A few minutes later Ash appeared along side Ms. Ember followed soon after by Cinder. At the time they didnt have names, so a debate was started as to what to name them.
- May 30, 2024:
- At Approximately 8:00 AM (LFT), One of the sparks was seen on the back camera playing outside of the feeder under the supervision of Ms. Ember. This is theorised to be Soot doin a silly.
- At 11:52 PM (LFT), one of the Sparks was seen eating some kibble before accidentaly flashing the camera, revealing their gender to be male. It is however unknown which spark it was, however recorded images match closely with the description of Soot.
June 2024
- June 01, 2024: At 6:57 PM (LFT), a spark could be seen closely guarded by Ms. Ember who sat eating some kibble before getting shooed away by Ms. Pegmatite
- June 02, 2024:
- At 07:52 AM (LFT), Cinder could be spotted attacking the feeders curtain playfully while Ms. Ember eats some kibble, before hopping into the feeder to do some mlem practice.
- At 08:34 AM (LFT), another one of the sparks along side Cinder showed up to playfight outside of the feeder while Ms. Ember looked on.
- June 03, 2024:
- At 6:55 AM (LFT), one of The Sparks could be seen feasting on kibble while Ms. Ember kept close watch.
- At 07:13 AM (LFT), Ash could be seen alone at the feeder exploring around.
- At 7:57 AM (LFT), one of The Sparks arrived at the feeder to explore, closely followed behind by Ms. Ember
