Mr. Bleptastic is a cat who infrequently appears at the Little Wanderer’s Paradise feeder. He was first documented on March 28, 2024. His name is a combination of “blep”, the act of a cat leaving its tongue outside of its closed mouth, and “Mr. Bombastic”, the hit 1995 single from recording artist Shaggy. He is one of the only Little Wanderer's Paradise cats without a freaky name, he's chill like that.
Behavior
Mr. Bleptastic is a rather rare visitor to the feeder. During his appearances, he often bleps and makes other cute faces while eating. He has also been seen licking the side of the feeder. His motives for this are unknown.
He has shown somewhat of a mean streak. When observed outside of the feeder, he often seems to be on watch for or in conflict with other local cats, going so far as to chase them.
He has been seen only once since the feeder was relocated.
Appearance
Besides his stout build and blue-green eyes, Mr. Bleptastic (say me fantastic) is notable for his striking black and white coat. The general pattern is that of a common tuxedo cat, but with distinct markings around his face; he has a white blaze from his forehead to the left of his mouth, and an inverse black streak down his chin.
Sightings
March 2024
- March 28, 2024: 08:52 AM (LFT) Mr. Bleptastic was first sighted. He entered the feeder and ate while blepping. He was snacked on this occasion.
- March 30, 2024: 03:21 PM (LFT) Mr. Bleptastic visited the feeder for a meal. Afterwards, he spent some time licking the feeder. Weird.
April 2024
- April 13, 2024: 02:18 PM (LFT) Mr. Bleptastic was seen lurking around the feeder as Ms. Ghouli rested. He made multiple advances towards the feeder but was driven back by her lashing tail. Ultimately, Mr. Bleptastic waited for her to exit the feeder and sprinted in her general direction, presumably to beef with Ms. Ghouli.
