Young Timer is a cat who visits the Black Toe Beans Cat House. Their name comes from the patch on their forehead which looks as though they are balding - combining the term "old timer" with their young appearance.
Behavior
Young Timer is kind to all cats they meet. They are very close with Mr. Shrimp and is rarely seen visiting without him. They always cuddle together at the feeder. Both cats are constantly very sleepy, meaning they are a perfect match. When faced with The Mole, Young Timer pawed at them slightly but did not harm it.
Appearance
Young Timer is a white cat with large dark brown patches. Brown covers most of their back and their tail. There is a small brown patch covering their head which gives Young Timer their bald look.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 12, 2024: At 8:53 PM (LFT), Young Timer came to the feeder shortly after Mr. Shrimp had left and ate what was remaining in the bowl.
- July 14, 2024:
- At 1:53 AM (LFT), Young Timer ate kibble at the feeder.
- At 7:15 PM (LFT), Young Timer ate food while their unnamed mother supervised them.
- July 15, 2024: At 3:52 PM (LFT), Young Timer was at the feeder eating food. At 3:56 PM, their unnamed sibling joined them at the feeder. They ate together for a while. When Young Timer was finished, they went to sniff around in the grass while their sibling continued to eat.
- July 20, 2024:
- At 7:56 PM (LFT), Young Timer visited the feeder looking rather soggy.
- At 10:37 PM (LFT), Young Timer ate some kibble.
- July 27, 2024: At 3:02 PM (LFT), Young Timer was dispensed kibble while eating some at the feeder.
August 2024
- August 16, 2024: At 6:22 PM (LFT), Young Timer fell asleep sitting up. They looked very content despite the angle.
- August 20, 2024: At 7:55 PM (LFT), Young Timer looked into the camera with a worried expression.
- August 30, 2024: At 11:18 AM (LFT), Young Timer visited the bowl while an unnamed black and white cat was eating. They attempted to eat side-by-side, although there wasn't much space.
September 2024
- September 7, 2024: At 7:19 PM (LFT), Young Timer ate chicken snacks, not knowing that there was a calico cat behind them.
- September 8, 2024:
- At 4:29 PM (LFT), Young Timer enjoyed some snacks. A short while later, Mr. Shrimp appeared and squeezed into the feeder with them. They both fought for the snacks while more were dispensed on them, getting flakes on their heads in the process.
- At 11:47 PM (LFT), Young Timer arrived when The Mole was inside the bowl stealing food. They were incredibly confused by the animal and pawed at it slightly, but did not harm it. The creature panicked and attempted to leave the bowl, but could not escape. Young Timer simply tilted their head and watched. It took around 5 minutes, but The Mole eventually climbed out and fled unharmed. Young Timer fell asleep shortly after.
- September 9, 2024:
- At 7:42 PM (LFT), Young Timer and Mr. Shrimp squeezed in to eat together. Afterward, they cuddled up and fell asleep. At 8:42 PM, Mr. Shrimp had left and Young Timer decided that the best new place to sleep was inside the feeder bowl.
- At 10:15 PM (LFT), Young Timer met up with Mr. Shrimp again. Mr. Shrimp fell asleep while Young Timer watched their surroundings. By 10:44 PM, Mr. Shrimp had left. Young Timer ate kibble.
- September 11, 2024: At 8:14 PM (LFT), Young Timer and Mr. Shrimp stared into the feeder bowl together, likely awaiting snacks. They were incredibly disappointed when kibble was dispensed instead.
- September 12, 2024:
- At 5:02 AM (LFT), Young Timer and Mr. Shrimp were cuddling when kibble was dispensed, causing them both to get up to eat it.
- At 7:22 AM (LFT), Young Timer and Mr. Shrimp were again cuddling when food was dispensed. Young Timer got up to eat, but Mr. Shrimp stayed where he was, incredibly sleepy.
- At 11:05 PM (LFT), Young Timer and Mr. Shrimp were back at the feeder together when an unnamed calico hesitantly joined them. Young Timer immediately left, causing both remaining cats to give each other a look.
- September 14, 2024:
- At 12:56 AM (LFT), Young Timer and Mr. Shrimp cuddled at the feeder. At 1:04 AM, food was dispensed, causing both cats to get up to eat. Mr. Shrimp fell asleep halfway through eating some chicken snacks. Young Timer pushed him out of the way to get to the snacks, making him wake up again.
- At 3:23 AM (LFT), Young Timer startled their mother when they entered the feeder, causing her to hiss at them.
- At 10:09 PM (LFT), Young Timer and Mr. Shrimp cuddled together.
- September 15, 2024: At 5:51 AM (LFT), Young Timer joined a sleepy Mr. Shrimp at the feeder, waking him up. Mr. Shrimp sat as Young Timer ate for a while. Mr. Shrimp then got tired and attempted to cuddle, but Young Timer panicked and jumped, causing it to become awkward. Eventually, they curled up side-by-side and fell asleep.
- September 16, 2024: At 4:04 AM (LFT), Young Timer curled up to Mr. Shrimp, causing them to look very cute together as they looked at food dispensing.
