Mr. Excavator is a cat that is well known for taking large bites of food at a time, like an excavator, as the name implies. He is a regular visitor at the Eat Without Getting Fat feeder.

Mr. Excavator became popular on social media for his humorous eating habits. A clip taken at his feeder was posted to BiliBili^[1], causing him to rise in popularity. A version of the clip on TikTok^[2] also boosted his fame overseas.

Behavior

Mr. Excavator, evidently, enjoys food. Whilst he took huge chomps in his famous appearance, the feeder itself usually has less kibble in the bowl. This means that Mr. Excavator eats quite tentatively most of the time.

Mr. Excavator is likely comfortable around the feeder and other cats. He has been spotted alongside other cats without issue. He has also been visiting regularly since September 2023, and is clearly dedicated to his craft.

Appearance

Mr. Excavator is a shorthaired tabby cat with brown fur. On his face, and some of his back, he has tabby stripes. He also has tabby spotting on his lower back, although they are harder to see when in shadows. Mr. Excavator has white patches on his chin. He has a brown nose, and green eyes.
