Ruffle is a fluffy black cat that appears at Fat Eats Fat Eats (胖吃胖吃（招募猫猫侠中)). He was named for the large ruff around his neck. He is the father of Mrs. Arctic's five kittens: Puffle, a gray kitten, and three black kittens (who are known collectively as The Agents). He and Mrs. Arctic aren't seen together all the time, but they seem to be cordial. He was first sighted by the global community on November 28, 2024.
Behavior
Ruffle, despite his imposing appearance, is actually not a very dominant cat. Sometimes, when food is dropped while he's sitting in the feeder, the various brown tabbies of the feeder will run in and begin eating; he simply sits back and lets them eat. He is seen to have a gentle temperament with his children. He often sits in the feeder with them or on the roof when they hang out there. He enjoys watching them run around, often staring with a wide-eyed expression. His gentle nature is exemplified by the fact that Mrs. Arctic often drops her kids off with him and leaves. When alone, he is usually seen sitting up inside the feeder, although he lays down on occasion.
Bowls of food are regularly left inside the feeder by humans. He rarely eats this food, and prefers eating food dropped in the feeder. He has a preference for chicken snacks over kibble, but still eats the kibble regularly.
Appearance
Ruffle is a longhaired black cat. His most distinguishing feature is the large ruff around his neck, making him look like a 17th century noble. There is another adult black cat at the feeder who looks similar to Ruffle; Ruffle has a larger volume of fur around his neck. Ruffle often stares into space with his eyes wide open.

Sightings
November 2024
- November 28, 2024:
- At 7:06 PM (LFT), Ruffle was spotted for the first time. He was sitting up, snoozing.
- At 11:04 PM (LFT), Ruffle entered the feeder and looked inside the bowl. Seeing that there were no chicken snacks, he sat down along the back of the feeder and hung out.
- November 30, 2024: At 5:37 PM (LFT), Ruffle was seen eating from the feeder while one of The Agents watched him from outside. He left a minute later, then returned at 5:54 to eat some more.
December 2024
- December 4, 2024: At 1:30 PM (LFT), Ruffle was seen sitting in the feeder, off to the side, as there was a large plastic take-out container taking up most of the space in the feeder.
- December 6, 2024: At 7:19 AM (LFT), shortly after Mrs. Arctic and an Agent had left, Ruffle was seen eating chicken snacks from the feeder.
- December 15, 2024: At 10:55 PM (LFT), Ruffle was seen sitting inside the feeder. Shortly after, an Agent entered the feeder and began eating kibble; Ruffle sat back and hung out while it ate. When it was finished eating, it sniffed Ruffle, who sat there with his usual wide-eyed expression, then left.
- December 16, 2024: At 6:46 PM (LFT), Ruffle jumped off the roof of the feeder and went inside while his gray kitten was eating. He sat down next to it and watched it eat. When it was finished eating, Ruffle watched it and an agent as they played outside. Around the time Mrs. Arctic showed up, kibble was dropped, and he began eating.
