Ms. Neotoma is one of the first of 2025's new visitors to Woohoo Big Face Baga Meow. She is a confident little kitten that will protect her horde of chicken against other cats. She is named after the pack rat genus as she may be one of Ms. Rat's relatives.
Behavior
Ms. Neotoma, like Ms. Dymus, tend to crawl into the bowl and sit atop of the chicken. She will not budge if kibble or chicken fall upon her, instead she will continue eating. She isn't shy and does not fear the feeder.
Appearance
Ms. Neotoma is a calico kitten with a piebald pattern and a dappled mask atop her head. She's predominantly white with the exception of spots making up the saddle upon her back.
Sightings
January 2025
- January 27, 2025: 10:15 PM (LFT) Ms. Neotoma clambered onto the feeder and hopped into the bowl. She was joined by an equally hungry Ms. Rat. Ms. Rat are around the kitten as she horded the chicken within. Ms. Neotoma, scurried away. Ms. Neotoma hopped out for a moment to snuffle around the back of the feeder. Ms. Boggle peered in for a moment and seemed to be confused by the kitten.
February 2025
- February 02, 2025: 10:43 PM (LFT) Ms. Neotoma clambered into the bowl. She was not deterred by the donations of kibble and chicken that fell upon her.
- February 04, 2025: 08:44 PM (LFT) Ms. Neotoma crawled into the bowl once more and began scrounging around for pieces of kibble. She looked over her shoulder for a moment before continuing to eat.
- February 05, 2025: 09:35 PM (LFT) Ms. Neotoma sat in the bowl and spun around as she ate the donations of kibble and chicken that rolled in. An orange tabby visited and hissed at her repeatedly. Ms. Boggle crept up to the orange tabby and gave him a sniff. The two were scared away by a noise. Ms. Neotoma went to run away but turned around to continue eating.
- February 06, 2025: 08:15 PM (LFT) Ms. Neotoma yapped at another cat until it went away. She then continued eating until she was scared away.
- February 07, 2025: 08:35 PM (LFT) Ms. Neotoma was startled away from the feeder twice.
- February 08, 2025: 10:56 PM (LFT) Ms. Neotoma was bonked on the head by kibble and scared away from the feeder.
