Big Grey, named for his size and color, is a cat who can be seen at the Tuxedo and Tabby Squad feeder. He was one of the original visitors to be documented at the feeder. His group used to comprise of Ms. Bounce and Watcher, but as time has progressed he has opened up to more cats. However, his rivalry still stands with Mr. Slither.

Behavior

Big Grey was once a coward but now is a stoic pacifist. Instead of running away he will grumble and glare. He is often content sitting by the feeder and watching the world around him.

Big Grey has become something of a father figure at the feeder. He will often be seen teaching the kittens how to hunt flies or to wait their turn. Whenever a cat interrupts his eating, he will cuff them on the head and gnaw on their ear.

He has taken a shining to Mr. Helios, as he is the only kitten that he's willingly shared the cubby with.

Appearance

Big Grey is a grey tabby with stripes. He has no other coloration on his fur. He is a shorthaired cat. He is also very large in size.

April 2024

• April 28, 2024: At 03:00 PM (LFT), Big Grey appeared alongside Ms. Bounce. Big Grey appeared to be drooling while eating kibble.
• April 30, 2024: At 05:18 PM (LFT), Big Grey fell over backward running away from Mr. Slither, abandoning Ms. Bounce.

May 2024

• May 05, 2024: At 09:00 PM (LFT), Big Grey joined Watcher in the feeder and they both waited for kibble to be donated. When it was, they shared the food in the feeder bowl. At 10:10 PM (LFT), Big Grey was scared by Mr. Slither and left Watcher behind in the feeder.
• May 06, 2024: At 07:30 AM (LFT), Big Grey, Watcher and Ms. Bounce spent time by the feeder. Watcher gave Big Grey a clean.
• May 07, 2024: At 05:48 PM (LFT), Big Grey ate at the feeder and was accompanied by Ms. Bounce. Though he ignored Notorious when she visited to cuddle Ms. Bounce at 5:53 PM (LFT)
• May 08, 2024: At 06:33 PM (LFT), Big Grey was accompanied by Watcher, Ms. Bounce and Notorious. Watcher and Big Grey ate together while the other cats played.
  • At 10:42 PM (LFT), Big Grey was joined by Watcher, who came to cuddle and eat at the feeder.
• May 09, 2024: At 04:25 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Watcher enjoyed their time together at the feeder. They both enjoyed the afternoon sun on the new mats left by the caretaker.
  • At 06:20 PM (LFT), Big Grey contended with Ms. Bounce's cuddling as he tried to eat.
• May 14, 2024: At 06:20 PM (LFT), Big Grey sat at the feeder, but was soon trapped for TNR. He had to be put in time-out several times. Not only did he bite Mr. Stick numerous times, he stared down the caretaker and refused to budge into the bag. His cowardice seemed to have disappeared completely.
• May 23, 2024: At 07:52 PM (LFT), Big Grey returned. He sat at the feeder and stared into the camera. He was rewarded with kibble and treats for his brave return.
• May 24, 2024: At 06:53 PM (LFT), Big Grey loafed at the feeder and watched as the world passed by. His peace was soon disturbed as a playful Ms. Bounce chased a fly that buzzed around the feeder, repeatedly knocking into him. Around 30 minutes later, Big Grey hid inside the cubby, whilst Mr. Slither and Little Grey were at the feeder.
• May 26, 2024: At 12:00 AM (LFT), Big Grey was approached by his smaller counterpart, Little Grey. Big Grey watched as the kitten ate, too cozy to be grumpy. About 30 minutes later, Big Grey was greeted by Notorious and the playful Ms. Bounce. He watched as Ms. Bounce tumbled and played.
• May 27, 2024: At 03:35 PM (LFT), Big Grey was in the cubby, and was shortly visited by Notorious, Ms. Bounce and Ms. Leaf. They greet him with cuddles and affection. He was bothered by the intrusion but thankful for the company. An hour later, Big Grey was joined by Ms. Bounce, to get out of the rain. Big Grey seemed more than happy to share. The two sat comfortably side by side.
  • At 07:24 PM (LFT), Big Grey made eye contact with the back camera between dry retches. Though it turned out to be fine, because he realised there was food to be had and immediately stopped retching.
  • At 07:50 PM (LFT), Much to Big Grey's dismay, Ms. Bounce invited his nemesis and rival Mr. Slither to eat from the trays at the feeder. Despite grumbling and growling, he was too cozy to start a fight and let Mr. Slither finish his meal. However, Notorious soon arrived to lift his spirits with a friendly wrestling match.
  • At 08:30 PM (LFT), Ms. Bounce and Big Grey snuggled with each other inside the cubby.
  • At 08:53 PM (LFT), Notorious and Ms. Bounce overwhelmed Big Grey with cuddles, he let out a frustrated meow and fled from the feeder. Ms. Bounce went to chase after him but Notorious held her back.
• May 29, 2024: At 05:37 PM (LFT), Big Grey waited for Ms. Raccoon to finish eating so he could get into the cubby. Ms. Raccoon was neutral about Big Grey. Around 10 minutes later, Big Grey startled and looked out the side of the feeder. He hid as his rival Mr. Slither ate from the feeder.

June 2024

• June 08, 2024:At 07:17 AM (LFT), Big Grey tried to enter the feeder, but was startled away by something unknown. He stumbled back into the feeder around 10 minutes later. His tail was swatted at by Ms. Bounce, which put him in a further bad mood. So much so that he barred entry to the feeder for both Smidge and Ms. Fox. Big Grey secured his place in the cubby, only to be usurped by Ms. Leaf.
  • At 08:03 PM (LFT) Big Grey returned and stared wistfully at the kibble before getting comfortable. At 08:34 PM (LFT) Big Grey returned again and staked claim to the cubby. He watched the back entrance and roof as Ms. Leaf swatted down at him and Ms. Fox.
• June 10, 2024: At 08:43 AM (LFT), Big Grey crept into the feeder to enjoy breakfast, while Ms. Fox waited outside.
  • At 05:42 PM (LFT), Big Grey joined Ms. Bounce at the feeder - though he left five minutes later to give Smidge some space at the feeder.
  • At 08:03 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived at the feeder, playing with a cat on top of the feeder. He left as Ms. Fox and Ms. Bounce arrived at 08:05 PM (LFT).
• June 11, 2024: At 06:31 PM (LFT), Big Grey sniffed around and found a treat left by the caretaker. He happily ate it.
• June 12, 2024: At 11:13 AM (LFT), Big Grey ate at the feeder. He struggled with one particular piece stuck in his teeth.
• June 13, 2024: At 10:36 AM (LFT), Ms. Poko visited Big Grey and made the mistake of interrupting his breakfast, receiving a bop on the head and a gnawing of the ear.
• June 16, 2024: At 02:29 PM (LFT), Big Grey crept into the cubby and ate from the tray of kibble left by the caretaker.
• June 18, 2024: At 10:54 AM (LFT), Big Grey arrived but found himself being bothered by Little Anarchy, Ms. Bounce and Ms. Leaf.
  • At 06:17 PM (LFT) Big Grey waited for his turn, as Ms. Bounce ate, while sitting in the cubby.
  • At 08:03 PM (LFT) Big Grey returned for a moment before being scared off by something unseen.
• June 19, 2024: At 11:07 AM (LFT), Big Grey chilled outside the feeder, feeling the rain on his fur.
  • At 05:26 PM (LFT), sick of feeling the rain on his fur, Big Grey decided to escape the rain for a moment to enjoy the warmth of the feeder and cubby.
• June 20, 2024: At 06:39 AM (LFT), Big Grey arrived for breakfast. He rested his paws to watch the rain . After a moment, he set off for the morning.
  • At 10:12 AM (LFT), Big Grey made his way into the feeder and ate kibble. He seemed content at not being bothered, until something caught his eye. He picked up his eating pace and left. He returned 6 minutes later, only to be joined by the lovely Ms. Bounce. He clapped her on the back after she snuggled into him.
  • At 01:30 PM (LFT), Big Grey played with an unseen cat that sat atop the cubby beside the feeder.
  • At 06:41 PM (LFT), Big Grey made an evening return to have his supper.
• June 21, 2024: At 12:11 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived for a brief moment.
  • At 06:16 PM (LFT), resting his paws, Big Grey took some time to appreciate the rain.
• June 22, 2024: At 10:18 AM (LFT), Big Grey sharpened his claws after a big breakfast.
  • At 06:48 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Fox sat together in awkward silence after eating together.
  • At 11:19 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived and enjoyed kibble, though struggled to eat.
• June 25, 2024: At 10:26 AM (LFT), Big Grey arrived to beg for food. He stared into the camera and got kibbled twice. Afterwards, he scurried away.
  • At 01:32 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived for his lunch, but was scared off by his longstanding rival Mr. Slither, who arrived at 01:36 PM (LFT).
  • At 05:40 PM (LFT), Big Grey was startled by the kibble that was donated, though he welcomed this surprise as he ate.
  • At 07:58 PM (LFT), Big Grey pouted at the feeder, but shortly left.
• June 26, 2024: At 12:46 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived, as Ms. Hummingbird was there. The cats didn't know how to interact with each other. Around 15 minutes later, Big Grey left after having a negotiation with Liquid Fox.
  • At 05:12 PM (LFT), Big Grey ate from the tray of kibble left by the caretaker, though this did not stop him for begging for chicken. His peace was disrupted as Ms. Hummingbird tumbled in at 05:43 PM (LFT). Big Grey was confused, to say the least. He took the time to teach her how to hunt flies.
• June 26, 2024: At 10:33 PM (LFT), Ms. Bounce and Big Grey joined Ms. Fox at the feeder.
• June 27, 2024: At 11:35 AM (LFT), Big Grey arrived, but was scared off at 12:07 PM (LFT) by Mr. Slither.
• June 28, 2024: At 05:19 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Bounce arrived in a synchronised way. They bumped heads before eating.
• June 29, 2024: At 01:25 PM (LFT), Ms. Bounce and Big Grey arrived and took turns begging for food.
  • At 07:22 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Fox sat together. He tucked his paws under his body and loafed while looking at the feeder bowl. Around an hour later, Big Grey returned to beg for more food. He was soon startled at 09:01 PM (LFT) as Mr. Slither entered the feeder. Half an hour later, Big Grey returned once again. He waited patiently for Ms. Fox to finish eating.
• June 30, 2024: At 08:55 PM (LFT), Big Grey was joined by Ms. Bounce and Ms. Fox at the feeder. Both Ms. Bounce and Ms. Fox ate from the tray, but Big Grey opted to sit and beg at the bowl.

July 2024

• July 01, 2024: At 08:34 AM (LFT), Big Grey ran into the feeder excitedly. He immediately left as soon as he saw there was no food.
  • At 05:33 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived for supper. He munched down on kibble. He slowly pawed at the chicken slot, hoping some would be donated. Though he was visibly embarrassed when none came out. Around an hour later, Big Grey arrived with Ms. Bounce. He sat and ate while Ms. Bounce waited for him to finish.
• July 02, 2024: At 05:45 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Bounce made another synchronized appearance and headbutted each other.
• July 03, 2024: At 11:37 AM (LFT), Big Grey appeared at the feeder. His visit was brief as he ate kibble and left.
  • At 05:31 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Bounce joined each other and ate from the kibble mountain. They were joined by Mr. Helios, who coiled around Big Grey.
  • At 09:29 PM (LFT), Big Grey was startled by Ms. Bounce rushing into the feeder, and running back out.
• July 04, 2024: At 05:40 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Fox were at the feeder. Ms. Bounce joined and moved to make room for Mr. Helios. About 2 hours later, Big Grey and Ms. Bounce arrived and ate together.
• July 05, 2024: At 03:08 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived for a moment to eat and left. Though he returned 20 minutes later, only to get scared away by the plastic cover.
  • At 07:37 PM (LFT), Timtom and Big Grey sat at the feeder. Big Grey waited for Timtom to finish eating. His turn to eat did not quite happen, as Little Grey arrived and scared them off at 07:43 PM (LFT).
• July 09, 2024: At 10:48 AM (LFT), Big Grey was relaxing at the feeder. However, he sensed a disturbance and ran away.
  • At 05:42 PM (LFT), Big Grey returned to eat kibble. He pinned his ears back as he ate. He then proceeded to climb up a nearby tree.
  • At 09:06 PM (LFT), Big Grey stared glumly at the empty bowl.
• July 10, 2024: At 01:36 AM (LFT), Big Grey, Ms. Bounce and Ms. Fox crowded the feeder. They hopped in and out.
  • At 06:02 PM (LFT), Big Grey gnawed at the kibble that was donated.
• July 11, 2024: At 03:36 AM (LFT), Big Grey ate kibble from the bowl before curling up beside Mr. Helios. The pair fell asleep side by side.
• July 12, 2024: At 03:06 AM (LFT), Big Grey and Mr. Helios were joined by Ms. Fox as she ate from the kibble tray. Big Grey sat and watched the feeder bowl.
  • At 07:54 AM (LFT), Big Grey returned to beg for a kibble breakfast.
  • At 12:42 PM (LFT), Big Grey gnawed at kibble. He was then joined by Ms. Bounce who coiled around him and left. About 40 minutes later, Big Grey and Mr. Helios arrived together. Big Grey sat as Mr. Helios ate kibble. The orange kitten screamed into Big Grey's face before stomping into the cubby. Big Grey had a quick snack and wandered off.
  • At 04:16 PM (LFT), Big Grey waited for Ms. Bounce to catch up with him as he approached the feeder. Two minutes later, they were joined by Mr. Helios. About 15 minutes later, they were joined by Ms. Fox. They crowded in and waited for food.
• July 13, 2024: At 06:41 AM (LFT), Big Grey stretched and left the comfortable cubby. Mr. Helios got up for a moment and ate chicken before returning to sit directly on top of Big Grey. About an hour later, Big Grey left the cubby for a moment and received a smooch on the cheek from Ms. Fox.
• July 14, 2024: At 06:24 AM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Fox were greeted by Timtom.
  • At 09:22 AM (LFT), Ms. Bounce & Big Grey arrived. Big Grey ate from the bowl while Ms. Bounce ate from the tray.
  • At 12:40 PM (LFT), Big Grey ate as Ms. Fox and Ms. Bounce waited outside. About an hour later, Big Grey arrived to sniff the empty bowl.
  • At 06:03 PM (LFT), Big Grey arrived - but was instantly scared off by Mr. Slither. He came back at around 07:35 PM (LFT), and was joined by Ms. Fox. The pair were joined by Timtom at 07:38 PM (LFT).
• July 15, 2024: 12:34 PM (LFT) Big Grey chewed on kibble. He visibly turned his nose up at the chicken that was donated.
  • 07:38 PM (LFT) Big Grey stopped by for dinner. He grumbled at the chicken being donated.
• July 17, 2024: At 10:28 AM (LFT), Big Grey arrived for breakfast.
• July 18, 2024: At 03:49 PM (LFT), Big Grey and Ms. Bounce coiled around each other as they approached the feeder.
  • Later at 05:19 PM (LFT), Big Grey stared contemplatively at the kibble while Ms. Bounce lounged outside.
  • An hour later at 06:23 PM (LFT), Big Grey returned and ate kibble.
• July 19, 2024: At 04:04 PM (LFT), Big Grey returned and was on the receiving end of a kibbling.
• July 31, 2024: At 05:06 PM (LFT), Big Grey attempted to eat but was blocked by a very hungry Little Naranjita.
  • Two hours later at 07:31 PM (LFT), Big Grey sat at the feeder, despite there being plenty of kibble he was content just sitting and watching the world around him.

August 2024

• August 01, 2024: At 07:57 PM (LFT), Ms. Bounce and Big Grey hopped into the feeder together. Ms. Bounce unintentionally blocked Big Grey from eating kibble as she gnawed away on chicken. The pair slipped out for a moment only to return a minute later to cuddle.
• August 04, 2024: At 02:19 AM (LFT), Liquid Fox crowded into the feeder with both Big Grey and Ms. Bounce. Big Grey delicately tiptoed over the pair of them to eat.
  • Later in the afternoon at 04:47 PM (LFT), Big Grey nipped at some kibble in the feeder's bowl. He looked about and meowed at a cat outside the feeder.
• August 05, 2024: At 07:49 AM (LFT), Big Grey sat at the feeder, he looked about glumly as he did so.
  • Later on at 05:00 PM (LFT), Big Grey sat at the feeder, he waited patiently for his friends before eating. However, he was scared out of the feeder by Mr. Slither. He waited outside with great displeasure.
  • Three hours later at 08:44 PM (LFT), Big Grey was joined by Ms. Bounce at the feeder, he gave her a quick greeting as she investigated the cubby.
  • Later at 10:36 PM (LFT), Big Grey sat at the feeder, a cat outside caught his attention. He stared angrily at them and began growling.
