Ms. Isthmus is a female cat that was discovered at the Abandoned Angel feeder. She was named after her appearance, specifically having a lil orange patch separating 2 white patches. She's a cute little kitty who's melodrama far exceeds her size.
Behavior
Ms. Isthmus goes through her life as if it is a melodrama. She is one of the most expressive cats at the feeder with an unending variety of different facial expressions. She mostly uses her skills to show different types of sadness and worry on her face, as that seems to be the most consistent of her emotional states. Despite her love for theatrics and making her thoughts known, she does NOT enjoy the company of other cats. She's always worried about potential social interaction, spending most of her visits looking over her shoulder constantly, and has never been seen willingly at the feeder with another cat. Her go-to is transforming from a cutiepie into an evil murder mittens in the rare cases where she has to be within a yard of another cat and she is never willing to negotiate. Ever since her TNR she has become much rarer of a visitor.
Appearance
Ms. Isthmus is likely the smallest adult cat seen at Abandoned Angel. One of her most noticeable/striking features are her very large green eyes that always stand out. She has a bicolor coat that's predominantly cream with distinct orange mottled patches on her back and head. Her face has a combination of light beige and orange colors, with a noticeable orange area around her eyes and her brown nose. She has a orange and beige striped tail. She is a very charming and distinct looking kitty.
Sightings
May 2024
- May 06, 2024: During the morning hours Ms. Isthmus was seen coming to the feeder, looking a little anxious. She had a meal of snacks and kibble. She made sure to continuously check the area around the feeder as she ate.
- May 22, 2024: At approximately 10:50 AM (LFT) Ms. Isthmus fell prey to the TNR trap that had been setup at the feeder, becoming the third caught cat of the day. She was trapped for approximately 40 minutes before being retrieved by the caretakers. During her time in the trap, she made sure to showcase her deep felt emotions to the viewers. At first, she was enjoying the feast presented before her, but after an unsuccessful prison break attempt from outside by Mr. Ranzatsu, she realized the reality of her situation. She was at first furious, trying to break the bars apart with her bare hands(paws) but became calm rather quickly and seemed to be enjoying the breeze. She then switched to expressing sorrow over her lot in life, sending small, sad, pitiful soundings meows in the world. Then, she was very worried and anxious as she sat in the sock panting. Her anxiety transformed into anger once again as she tried to brute force through the walls and bars again. She became momentarily tranquil and said a prayer to the kitty god above. Mr. Ranzatsu arrived again, trying to tinker with the trap to free Ms. Isthmus, somehow oblivious to the small kitty inside who was now seething with pure hatred and bloodlust for her would-be savior. She unsuccessfully tried to noclip into the ground to get as far away from Mr. Ranzatsu as possible after realizing she would be unable to murder him.
June 2024
- June 16, 2024: Ms. Isthmus was spotted for the first time again after her previous TNR. She ate a little, looked into the camera with a look of betrayal, then left.
