Kabu is a young cat that frequents the Kirby of the Beautiful Star feeder. She is one of four children of Mama Dyna and Papa Whispy. She is named after Kabu,[1] a minor enemy character originating from Kirby's Dream Land.[2]
Behavior
Kabu is usually a calm but ravenous cat. She is usually the first to enter a feeder with her family, hoping to get first dibs on kibble before getting squeezed out. When she was younger she would always go to the feeder with her entire family, but as she has grown, she usually shows up either by herself, or with one of her siblings, who she loves the company of. As she has grown older, she has adopted the habit of sleeping in front of the feeder, hoping to be woken up by the sounds of dropped kibbles.
Appearance
Kabu is a short haired cat with a brown tabby coating. Unlike her dad Papa Whispy, she is a marbled tabby, giving her a striking coat. She also has a bit of white spotting around her snout, chest, stomach, and paws. The tiniest white dot can be seen on her nose as well.

December 2024
- December 09, 2024
- At 05:48 AM (LFT), Kabu appeared for the first time for international viewers. She arrived at the feeder along with Waddle Doo, who shared the feeder with her.
- Later at 09:51 AM (LFT), Kabu showed up at the feeder with Mama Dyna and Waddle Dee. She sat inside the feeder while she ate, and received a quick bath from her mom.
- December 10, 2024:
- At 01:54 AM (LFT), Kabu arrived at the feeder to have a quick meal of kibbles. She left afterwards for about twenty minutes before returning with Waddle Doo. The two played with each other for a bit, then decided to cuddle up together. Eventually, Mama Dyna and the rest of her siblings entered the feeder for some kibbles, to which Kabu got up to eat with her mom. After a quick drink of water, Kabu sat by her mom and got a quick bathe.
- Later at 03:17 AM (LFT), Kabu joined Papa Whispy's cuddle pile with Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo. They snuggled up together, before Kabu decided to leave after 20 minutes of quick rest.
- December 11, 2024:
- At 04:46 AM (LFT), Kabu joined her family at the feeder. She sat patiently beside Waddle Dee while waiting for kibbles to drop. As kibbles dropped, Kabu was blocked by Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo, and had to squeeze in to eat some food.
- Later at 06:38 AM (LFT), Kabu returned to the feeder while Mama Dyna and Waddle Dee sat around. Kabu joined them sitting around, and stared at the front camera with a very adorable stare in hopes of getting more food.
- December 12, 2024: At 04:48 AM (LFT), Kabu joined Waddle Doo at the feeder. She sat with her brother for a while before Waddle Doo left, leaving her to sleep by herself. She was then joined minutes later by Scarfy and Waddle Dee, who all ate at the feeder together. Afterwards, Kabu gave Waddle Dee a bath for a few minutes, then curled up to her brother.
- December 13, 2024: At 05:31 AM (LFT), Kabu entered the feeder while Mama Dyna was having a nap by herself. She quickly greeted her by giving a quick kiss, then went to sit beside her. She was then joined by Waddle Dee who both ate together from the dispenser. Afterwards, they all huddled together and had a long nap. They were then interrupted by Chef Kawasaki, who tried to sneak in quietly to eat some kibbles.
- December 14, 2024: At 04:35 AM (LFT), Kabu showed up to eat some kibbles, along with Waddle Dee. They were later joined by the rest of her siblings, and Mama Dyna. After eating, Kabu huddled up with her family, and sat around. She later started to bathe Waddle Doo while he was asleep.
- December 15, 2024: At 07:23 AM (LFT), Kabu was seen sleeping with Papa Whispy, Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo. They were all curled up together in one giant pile.
- December 16, 2024:
- At 07:00 AM (LFT), Kabu was sitting around at the feeder with Mama Dyna. She stared at her mom with the sweetest face, then back at the camera hoping for some kibbles. She was then joined by Waddle Doo, where the both of them ate from the dispenser. Later the entire family arrived at the feeder, and all either ate or sat with each other.
- Later at 05:08 PM, Kabu sat at the feeder by herself, staring at the camera with a sweet stare.
- December 17, 2024: At 04:16 AM (LFT), Kabu was seen cuddling with Papa Whispy and Waddle Dee. She and her brother were both resting on their dad's belly. After a while, both Mama Dyna and Waddle Doo arrived at the feeder, and they all slept with each other.
- December 18, 2024: At 05:27 AM (LFT), Kabu was seen sleeping in a loaf position by herself at the feeder.
- December 19, 2024: At 07:39 PM (LFT), Kabu was spotted cuddling up with Papa Whispy, Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo at the feeder. They slept peacefully together.
- December 20, 2024: At 06:13 AM (LFT), Kabu was seen with all three of her siblings at the feeder. She was pushed up against the wall in a noodle form. Eventually, Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo piled ontop of her while Scarfy sat beside the pile. Eventually, Mama Dyna arrived at the feeder, and sat beside the pile of kittens.
- December 22, 2024: At 05:18 AM (LFT), Kabu arrived at the feeder with Mama Dyna and all of her siblings. She had her fill of kibbles, and sat at the back while the rest of her siblings ate.
- December 24: 2024: At 03:51 AM (LFT), Kabu was briefly seen at the feeder sleeping with Waddle Doo. She didn't stick around for long though, as she soon left after a few minutes.
February 2025
- February 17, 2025: At 05:21 AM (LFT), Kabu arrived at the feeder with Scarfy. The two of them sat and ate kibbles together for the duration of their visit.
- February 18, 2025: At 05:12 AM (LFT), Kabu was seen loafing at the feeder. Even with kibbles in front of her, Kabu just wanted to sleep for a little bit.
- February 19, 2025: At 03:48 AM (LFT), Kabu showed up at the feeder. She quickly sat around, then formed a loaf position in front of the dispenser. She slept there for a few minutes before heading off.
- February 20, 2025: At 03:14 AM (LFT), Kabu and Waddle Dee were seen together at the feeder. The two of them ate some kibbles, then sat together staring at the front camera.
- February 21, 2025: At 05:54 PM (LFT), Kabu arrived at the feeder and immediately loafed by the dispenser. She sat there as Waddle Dee entered the feeder to sit beside her. As soon as food was dispensed however, the two of them both got up and feasted.
- February 22, 2025: At 04:44 AM (LFT), both Kabu and Waddle Dee were seen at the feeder together. They both ate some kibbles, then sat together afterwards.
- February 23, 2025: At 03:44 AM (LFT), Kabu quickly entered the feeder and immediately went to eat some kibbles. She felt very sleepy afterwards, and decided to lay in front of the dispenser and got some shut-eye for about twenty minutes.
