Heat Miser is a rough looking tabby cat who stays at the Warm Home Pet Sales Department shelter. Her name is a reference to the character of the same name, from the TV special "The Year Without a Santa Claus"[1]. He seems to be an elderly cat.
It was originally thought that Heat Miser was another cat called Mr. Statue. It was later found that Mr. Statue was a mixup between Mr. Bully and Heat Miser.
Behavior
Heat Miser is very sleepy and can often be seen curled up or loafing inside the feeder. She has a very odd look, and tends to stare directly into the camera, as though he can see the viewers.
Appearance
Heat Miser is a very scruffy brown tabby cat. Her ears are very pointy, and he has strangely shaped eyes. His chest and chin are white. She has a black nose. When she loafs, he can appear to be very small. It can be assumed she is an elderly cat due to his appearance.

- May 29, 2024: At 11:23 AM (LFT), Heat Miser stared deeply into the front camera for many minutes. He was named Mr. Statue because of this, but was later renamed after the accidental cat mixup.
June 2024
- June 7, 2024: At 1:55 PM (LFT), Heat Miser was loafing in the feeder comfortably.
- June 10, 2024: At 12:19 AM (LFT), Heat Miser was staring at the food with a strange look.
- June 16, 2024: At 2:40 AM (LFT), Heat Miser was curled up asleep inside the feeder.
- June 21, 2024: At 10:09 PM (LFT), Heat Miser was loafing inside the feeder.
- June 24, 2024: At 6:33 AM (LFT), Heat Miser was splayed out across the feeder asleep. She looked incredibly comfortable.
- June 25, 2024: At 2:06 PM (LFT), Heat Miser was splayed out in the feeder when food was dispensed. He quickly shot up, and began to sit, staring at the camera. Grilled Chicken approached to see the dispensed food, but could not get close due to Heat Miser in the way.
- June 28, 2024:
- At 12:50 AM (LFT), Heat Miser was curled up in the feeder while Pot Lid sat beside him. A few minutes later, Pot Lid began to loaf. They relaxed together comfortably.
- At 3:10 AM (LFT), Heat Miser laid inside the feeder.
- June 30, 2024: At 11:18 PM (LFT), Heat Miser stared directly into the camera. Grilled Chicken was curled up against the feeder wall behind her.
July 2024
- July 3, 2024:
- July 4, 2024: At 6:31 AM (LFT), Heat Miser was trying to loaf in the middle of the feeder, but had to move when Pot Lid attempted to eat.
- July 5, 2024:
- At 12:08 AM (LFT), Heat Miser could be seen sleeping in the corner of the room on the floor.
- At 1:45 AM (LFT), Heat Miser loafed in the feeder, staring at the lack of chicken snacks with a sad look.
- July 8, 2024:
- At 9:21 AM (LFT), Heat Miser sat in the feeder and watched kibble dispensing.
- At 6:57 PM (LFT), Heat Miser ate from the feeder while Pot Lid watched him.
- July 9, 2024: At 10:01 PM (LFT), Heat Miser curled up in the feeder, staring at Mr. Edible who was asleep on the floor.
- July 10, 2024:
- At 12:19 AM (LFT), Heat Miser approached Mr. Yolk at the side of the room who was attempting to open packets that the cats had managed to find. Heat Miser attempted it himself, but seemed more tired and stretched instead.
- At 6:27 PM (LFT), Heat Miser ate while Grilled Chicken was stretched out behind him. At 7:01 PM he returned to sniff the freshly dispensed food. Ms. Cruciform came up from behind and sniffed her without her noticing.
- At 11:22 PM (LFT), Heat Miser sat in the feeder staring at the food. She looked very strange, as per usual.
- July 12, 2024: At 2:02 PM (LFT), Heat Miser sat inside the feeder.
- July 13, 2024: At 3:04 AM (LFT), Heat Miser sat inside the feeder, almost falling asleep. He was woken up when food was dispensed. He was not interested in the food, and instead started loafing.
- July 14, 2024:
- At 1:21 AM (LFT), Heat Miser stared into the front camera. After the ritual was finished, she curled up next to Grilled Chicken who was inside the feeder. He was still there an hour later as Grilled Chicken got up and left.
- At 10:10 AM (LFT), Heat Miser stared into the feeder bowl, unmoving like a statue. He flinched when Mr. Edible, who loafed behind him, suddenly got up and ran away. Food was dispensed, and she went to eat it as Grilled Chicken moved to sit behind her. Pot Lid also joined the party, and tried to squeeze in beside Heat Miser. It looked as though he was trying to give her a hug but really just wanted the food instead. Heat Miser moved out the way and they ate chicken snacks together.

- At 11:15 AM (LFT), Heat Miser sat inside the feeder.
- At 2:16 PM (LFT), Heat Miser slowly ate some food. She seemed to be careful of how much she ate at one time.
