Mr. Blotch is a regular visitor at the Duck Feeder. He was officially named on March 10 after the blotches on his back. He can usually be seen eating kibble, loafing, and watching his surroundings.
Behavior
Mr. Blotch is calm and friendly towards other cats, unless they are aggressive towards him, in which he will growl at them. If another cat is eating he will wait until they have finished. Sudden appearances of cats can scare him into running away. He is friendly with humans, as pictures have been posted of him enjoying pets behind the scenes.
Appearance
Mr. Blotch is a domestic shorthair with mostly white fur, and blotches of black on his head and back, giving him his name. His most distinct trait is the small black spot on his nose and the black patch that moves around his eyes. He has a friendly face and is very distinct from the other cats at the feeder.
Sightings
Mr. Blotch is a common visitor at the Duck Feeder, and can usually be seen multiple times per day.
March 2024
- March 10, 2024: At around 08:00 AM (LFT) Mr. Blotch was spotted eating from the feeder. He came back at around 09:22 PM (LFT), eating for about 7 minutes before leaving.
- March 11, 2024: He came back and proceeded to wait for food with Ms. Fierce around 06:18 AM (LFT).
- March 14, 2024: Mr. Blotch was seen feasting on kibble and watching his surroundings.
- March 23, 2024: Around 12:30 PM (LFT), Mr Blotch was seen munching. Strangely, he was using his tongue to eat, like some kind of Mr. Tongue.
April 2024
- April 02, 2024: Spotted at 09:41 AM (LFT) spotted crunching before stretching and leaving.
- April 06, 2024: Around 10:20 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch began eating after having patiently waited for Mr. Virtue to finish his meal.
May 2024
- May 05, 2024: At 10:18 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch was spotted eating kibble, standing up multiple times in between. He ended up making a sudden realization, causing him to immediately leave the feeder.
- May 06, 2024: 10:40 PM (LFT), spotted strangely eating kibble, seemingly taking a drink of water after every bite. Ate for around 10 minutes before being interrupted by Ms. Ink.
- May 08, 2024: At around 10:55 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch feasted on some leftover chicken & kibble, left behind by Ms. Exclamation Mark after he had been watching over her while she ate.
- May 09, 2024: At around 03:05 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch was seen eeping on the side of the feeder. At around 03:09 AM (LFT), a kind user on the app donated some kibble and snacks to him, causing him to wake up and happily eat.
- May 11, 2024: At around 10:18 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch loafed near the feeder. He took a bite of food before making his escape.
- May 18, 2024: 11:02 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch was spotted at the feeder, politely waiting for some late night dinner. After being dropped some fresh food, he gave a small smile and ate his dinner happily before leaving about 15 minutes later.
- May 25th, 2024: At around 1:20 AM (LFT), Mr Blotch was found eating kibble and chicken at the feeder.
- May 29, 2024: At 4:12 AM (LFT) Mr. Blotch was found eating at the feeder.
June 2024
- June 5, 2024: Mr. Blotch was seen at around 12:28 AM (LFT) sitting at the feeder, looking around, and taking occasional bites of food.
- June 13, 2024: Mr. Blotch seen eating and looking in the void, around 9:55 AM (LFT).
- June 15, 2024: Mr. Blotch was seen at around 2:07 AM (LFT) eating and looking at his surroundings. He loafed near the feeder for a while before leaving at approx. 2:30 AM. He came back to watch over Mr. Hurry eat at 2:55 AM, but left after Mr. Hurry did without approaching the food bowl.
- June 16, 2024:
- At 1:07 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch approached the feeder to eat. He walked away and came back to the feeder during this encounter for unknown reasons.
- At 11:31 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch came to the feeder. He was watching his surroundings more than usual while he ate. At 11:43 PM, he was scared away by Mr. Sweetpea, and waited for him to leave before returning to the feeder. Mr. Blotch left at 12:05 AM after enjoying many chicken snacks.
- June 17, 2024:
- At 5:38 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch was walking by the feeder when he decided to stop by to snack. At 5:54 AM, Mr. Blotch saw something and continued on his walk. He could still be seen in the background of the camera for a few minutes after.
- At 11:11 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch came to the feeder. He ate most of the kibble and briefly loafed before his calm night was interrupted by Mr. Blanket at 11:18 PM. Neither were aggressive but seemed wary of each other. Mr. Blotch moved to loaf on the wall while Mr. Blanket ate. Soon after, Mr. Virtue joined the party, but quickly left as he was intimidated by the two other cats. At 11:50 PM, Mr. Blanket ran away when Mr. Bentley approached and started growling. Mr. Blotch was unfazed by this and went back to loafing at the feeder. At 12:33 AM, Mr. Blotch left on the opposite side from Mr. Bentley.
- June 18, 2024:
- At 5:58 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch came to the feeder shortly after Ms. Opera had left. He ate some food before loafing in his classic position. When snacks were donated, he continued to loaf while eating until he was forced to move to reach the ones at the back. At 6:21 AM, Mr. Blanket arrived, so Mr. Blotch left.
- At 8:30 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch came to enjoy a meal. He loafed for a while before Mr. Bentley arrived and started growling. Mr. Blotch stayed for a few minutes before cautiously walking away at 8:48 PM.
- June 19, 2024:
- At 12:11 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch had a brief snack before Ms. Ink scared him by walking onto the feeder platform. He jumped the fence at 12:13 AM, despite her friendly intentions.
- At 3:03 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch had good fortune due to the huge amount of kibble that was in the feeder. He enjoyed a big meal. At 3:07 AM, Mr. Squeeze came to the feeder. Mr. Blotch growled at him while he finished his meal, then ran away.
- At 4:46 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch enjoyed some kibble. He loafed in front of the camera so that viewers could not resist his charms and was rewarded with chicken snacks. He left for a while, then came back at 5:38 AM after Mr. Bentley had eaten. He did not eat food when he returned, only to loaf in his favorite spot. At 6:04 AM, he had a snack before braving the rain.
- June 20, 2024:
- At 1:56 AM, Mr. Blotch came to the feeder. He was wet from the rain and had parts of his fur sticking up strangely.
- At 9:06 PM, Mr. Blotch was lying on the wall beside the feeder. He came down to eat and loaf. He seemed very eepy as his eyes kept closing. He left at 9:20 PM.
- June 22, 2024: At 6:02 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch approached Ms. Fierce at the feeder. They were friendly towards each other, and Mr. Blotch waited until she left to eat. He kept making silly faces at the camera. At 6:22 PM (LFT), Mr. Virtue came over and swatted him on the face, so he left. He returned at 7:02 PM, only to be chased off by Mr. Simba.
- June 25, 2024: At 3:36 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch came to enjoy a meal. He heard something and left at 3:49 AM.
- June 26, 2024:
- At 5:40 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch ate at the feeder. At 5:49 AM, Ms. Fierce approached and affectionately headbutted him out of the way to eat instead. Once she left, he finished his meal and left at 5:58 AM.
- At 5:40 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch enjoyed a meal. Afterward, he sat politely and looked at the camera, waiting for more.
- June 27, 2024:
- At 10:22 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch ate at the feeder.
- At 3:12 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch ate and relaxed at the feeder. He stared into the camera to protest the lack of chicken snacks.
- June 28, 2024:
- At 5:55 AM (LFT), Mr. Blotch came to eat and loaf at the feeder. At 6:11 AM, Mr. Blotch left.
- At 8:59 PM (LFT), Mr. Blotch approached the feeder. He was enjoying a meal when Mr. Simba came over and swatted at him. Thankfully, he left afterward, allowing Mr. Blotch to continue his meal. Mr. Simba could be seen circling the feeder, waiting for him to leave. At 9:49 PM, Mr. Blotch left.
