Mr. Ink is a regular visitor at the Duck Feeder. He was named on March 14, 2024, after his brown-tipped tail which looks like it was dipped in ink.
Behavior
Mr. Ink seems to be quite a mellow cat, amiable and discreet. When a cat is aggressive towards him, he is not aggressive back. He does not seem to like humans, as when the caretaker came around he zoomed away with incredible speed.
Appearance
Mr. Ink is a brown tabby with a white chin. He has short fur and cream-colored markings near his face.
He looks incredibly similar to Ms. Rattle, and is often confused with her. As seen in the image below, Ms. Rattle has a lighter fur color, and her forehead markings are less pronounced. Mr. Ink's fur, on the other hand, is darker and his face markings are a lot more noticeable.

Sightings
March 2024
- March 11, 2024: Mr. Ink was spotted at 11:53 AM (LFT) for the first time. He was initially confused for Ms. Rattle, but after further examination he was determined to be a different cat.
- March 14, 2024: Mr. Ink was spotted at 04:31 PM (LFT) for the second time. He checked out the new upgraded feeder with Mr. Blotch. The two of them walked side-by-side to the feeder. He took his turn first, then Mr. Blotch got a turn. Overall, he acted very gracefully.
June 2024
- June 16, 2024: Mr. Ink was spotted multiple times during the night, returning and leaving for food every so often. At 11:04 PM (LFT), Mr. Ink slowly approached Ms. Blanket at the feeder, which Ms. Blanket responded by hissing at him. Mr. Ink looked scared but proceeded to approach slowly. Ms. Blanket allowed him, and soon after jumped the fence to leave the feeder.
- June 18, 2024: At 12:13 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink approached Mr. Blotch at the feeder. Despite Mr. Ink's friendly intentions he got scared and left, allowing him to eat. He had a quick snack before leaving at 12:16 AM.
- June 19, 2024: At 12:50, Mr. Ink approached the feeder to a very peculiar sight. Ms. Horseshoe was curled up in the feeder, and was preventing multiple cats from being able to eat. Mr. Ink seemed confused, and could be seen over the next while waiting to eat. At 1:18 AM, Ms. Horseshoe had left the feeder, but Mr. Ink still had to wait his turn. At 1:27 AM, Mr. Ink got impatient and tried to eat with Ms. Exclamation Mark, but she hissed and Mr. Ink retreated.
- June 25, 2024:
- At 3:51 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink entered the feeder with Ms. Fierce. Ms. Fierce did not allow Mr. Ink to eat with her. At 3:53 AM, Ms. Fierce leaped away quickly after eating, so Mr. Ink ate his share and left at 3:56 AM.
- At 8:54, Mr. Ink approached the feeder for a quick snack. He left at 8:58.
- June 29, 2024:
- At 1:03 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink hesitantly approached just after Mr. Lead had left the feeder. At 1:08 AM, he saw something and quickly left.
- At 3:15 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink appeared again to eat. He heard something and left at 3:18 AM.
- June 8, 2024: At 4:11 AM, Mr. Ink joined Mr. Blotch at the feeder, pushing his way to the bowl to eat instead of Mr. Blotch. At 4:15 AM, Mr. Ink left after eating, allowing Mr. Blotch to continue his feast.
July 2024
- July 12, 2024: At 2:14 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink entered the feeder as a Mount Snack was taking place. He ate his share and left at 2:17 AM.
- July 15, 2024:
- At 12:39 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink came to the feeder. To his great fortune, there were many snacks waiting for him.
- At 4:41 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink ate at the feeder.
- At 8:58 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink was at the feeder.
- At 1:45 PM (LFT), Mr. Ink was at the feeder.
- At 10:36 PM (LFT), Mr. Ink approached the feeder and sniffed at the food, but was uninterested and walked away.
- July 16, 2024:
- At 2:37 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink ate at the feeder.
- At 4:34 AM (LFT), Mr. Ink ate at the feeder.
- At 1:38 PM (LFT), Mr. Ink ate at the feeder.
- At 5:26 PM (LFT), Mr. Ink was at the feeder.
- At 8:33 PM (LFT), Mr. Ink approached the feeder, unaware that Ms. Blanket was sitting inside. Ms. Blanket hissed at him. He took a second to consider before slowly walking away.
- At 10:49 PM (LFT), Mr. Ink approached the feeder while Mr. Squeeze and Ms. Blanket were present. Mr. Ink and Mr. Squeeze watched each other warily, but Ms. Blanket began to walk away, so Mr. Squeeze reluctantly followed her. Mr. Ink ate peacefully and left at around 10:58 PM.
