Brother Styles, whose English name is a variant of his original Chinese name, "Younger Brother Hairstyle", and a reference to the popstar, Harry Styles, is a JianZhou cat that has been seen visiting the Ten Thousand Kitties House (万猫屋) more consistently as of late.

Much beloved in the community he originated from, he is commonly referred to as the "Male Star" equivalent to Mrs. Dress' "Female Star" nickname, and is also sometimes called "Big Plump" to Mrs. Dress' "Big Fat". Other times however, he is simply referred to as "Dudu".

His first couple of sightings notably dates back to when the feeder was at the old location, where he was known for taking care of Mrs. Dress' children. In particular, he's mentioned to have been a great caretaker to Mr. Heartthrob, who remains friends with him to this day.

However, due to several neighborhood complaints, the feeder was eventually relocated to the current location, which resulted in him not appearing for a good couple of months due to its unfamiliarity. This coincided with the initial launch of meow.camera, hence why Brother Styles' popularity is considerably lower in the English fandom compared to the Chinese fandom, where Brother Styles appeared on camera just as frequently, if not more so, as Mrs. Dress.

Sightings

March 2024

  • March 13, 2024: At around 9:45 PM (LFT), Brother Styles appeared on camera for the first time in the English community. He did not enter the feeder but did lay on the caretaker's lap for some time, though, not before Mrs. Dress gave him a good couple of swats to signify her dominance.
  • March 19, 2024: During the caretaker's nighttime session, Brother Styles showed up at the Ten Thousand Kitties House again! This time however, he did enter the feeder for a brief period of ten minutes before heading out. It seems he even brought Ms. Tie with him, but she sadly did not get close or enter the feeder.

April 2024

  • April 19, 2024: After a long period of disappearance, Brother Styles came back to the feeder on his own at 6:53 PM (LFT). He didn't eat anything from the food bowl so he probably already ate some time before, but it's nice to see him put some effort in for his fans.
