Hudson is a young kitten that frequents A Litter of Cats Who Love Each Other. She is a part of Cob's litter. Cob's kittens were named after corn varieties, as "cob" is the name for the center of an ear of corn. Hudson was named after a bicolor variety of sweetcorn due to her multicolored fur. She is known and well-recognizable for her grey, striped fur, together with a triangle-shaped patch of ginger on her forehead. She was first sighted by the global community on January 20, 2025.
Behaviour
She is less shy than Reid. Reid tends to be the one closest to Cob, while Hudson tends to stay behind. She and Reid both have barbaric tendencies to not just put their paws in the bowl but their entire bodies. Once she completely blocked the camera with her bum. Even barely a month old, the effect of these barbarians can be seen on Cob's face. Like Reid and Cob, Hudson is a real eeper. She sometimes rests her head on her sister's back when she sleeps.
Appearance
Hudson is a little goober. Her back is mostly dark with some striping, similar to Brutus. Her tail is also brown. She has white legs, a white belly and a white chin, similarly to Cob. She has orange splotches on her neck and her forehead as well. She has a pink nose.
Sightings
January 2025
- January 19, 2025:
- At 6:48 PM (LFT), Hudson was spotted for the first time, a few hours after her sister, Reid, made her debut at the feeder. She sat beside her mother and watched Reid eat kibble. When chicken snacks were dropped, she got scared and ran out of the feeder.
- Around 11:50 PM (LFT), Hudson was seen sitting outside the feeder while Theo laid against the tarp in the feeder. Hudson sat and looked at Theo, not reacting when he started growling at her and slowly moving away from her. After Theo wedged himself between the bowl and the tarp, growling all the while, Hudson meowed at him once. Right before Theo hissed at her, she spontaneously fell into a laying position where she was sitting. When food was dropped, Hudson looked inside the feeder but didn't move. After sitting up for a minute, she fell into a laying position one more time, then left a minute later.
- January 20, 2024: Around 8:15 AM (LFT), Hudson was seen inside the feeder, playing with Reid, who was on the other side of the tarp. Reid would stick a paw through the tarp, then try to pull it away before Hudson pounced on it. After a few minutes of playing, Hudson crawled into the cavern underneath the feeder. When Reid entered the feeder to eat, she followed her in and explored the feeder while she ate. Hudson then tried to eat chicken snacks, and after a brief protest from Reid (who pawed at her once) she was able to eat. After eating, the kittens went back to playing.
February 2025
- February 3, 2025: At 02:30 AM (LFT), Hudson was seen loafing with both Cob and Reid. While they were huddled together, Hudson would occasionally make funny faces at the back camera for seemingly no reason. Hudson continued sleeping when Reid got up to eat. Later on in the visit, Hudson got groomed by her mother. When Reid laid back down, Hudson rested her head and, later, her arm on top of her.
- February 05, 2025: At 11:54 PM (LFT), Hudson arrived with her family at the feeder. While Cob ate from the dispenser, both Hudson and Reid squeezed in beside their mother to eat alongside her. Afterwards, Hudson huddled close to her mom, and sat with her for the duration of their visit.
- February 06, 2025: At 10:53 PM (LFT), Hudson appeared at the feeder alongside Reid and Cob. She was huddled up with Reid for most of this visit, making sure to stay warm during the evening.
- February 7, 2024: Around 5:00 AM (LFT), Hudson showed up to the feeder alongside her mother, joining Reid, who was already inside. Hudson wasn't able to fit herself next to Cob and Reid to eat, so she waited until Reid was done eating to go to the bowl herself.
