Mr. Boba is a black and white cat at Stray Cat Love Station. He is a common visitor to the feeder, and can often be seen hanging out inside with Ugly Orange. His name comes from his back pattern; the three black spots at the bottom of his white back look like tapioca pearls at the bottom of a cup of boba tea. He was first sighted by the global community on August 9, 2024.

Behavior

Mr. Boba enjoys both eating and lounging in the feeder. He has a preference for chicken snacks but will eat kibble at times as well. In the feeder, he enjoys hanging out with Ugly Orange. They bicker like an old married couple sometimes, swatting at each other, but they enjoy each other's company. Mr. Boba sometimes snuggles up to Ugly Orange in the feeder.

Outside the feeder, Mr. Boba is a playful cat. He enjoys running around, playing in the rainbow tunnel, and climbing into the bins. He most often plays with Mr. Dive, the feeder's resident kitten; they often roughhouse and play in the tunnel together. Mr. Boba and Mr. Dive are close, and they do look alike, but it is unknown if they are related.

Appearance

Mr. Boba is a black and white cat. He is mostly white, with black on his head, lower back, and tail. There appears to be one large patch of black on top of his head; however, they are actually two large black patches, separated by a very thin white strip of fur. There is black fur over his left eye, but not his right. His back is entirely white except for three large black spots on his lower back. He has a black bobtail.

Sightings

August 2024

August 9, 2024: Around 2:50 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen eating at the feeder. He left a minute later, showing off his bobtail.
August 11, 2024: Around 7:30 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba came to eat while Ugly Orange was sitting along the back of the feeder. Mr. Boba left a minute later. At around 7:45, Mr. Boba returned to the now-empty feeder, sniffed around for a minute, then left again.
August 14, 2024: At around 9:15 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen laying in the feeder, snuggling up to Ugly Orange, who was sitting beside him. Around 9:19, Mr. Boba got up, hissed at something outside the feeder, then left.
August 19, 2024: Around 11:25 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen trying to eat from the feeder, but Ugly Orange kept playfully nipping at his ears. Mr. Boba, unphased by this, made it to the bowl and began eating. Over the next couple of hours, the two would leave and return to the feeder, with Ugly Orange biting Mr. Boba while Mr. Boba, unphased, ate from the bowl.
August 20, 2024: Around 9:05 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen sleeping happily in front of the bowl.
August 21, 2024: At around 11:45 PM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen eating from the feeder while Ugly Orange sat beside him. A few seconds later, Mr. Boba took his head out of the bowl and sat up. Ugly Orange began scooping out chicken snacks with his hands and eating them off the floor. At one point, Ugly Orange randomly swatted Mr. Boba once, and Mr. Boba casually swatted back at him; they then continued chilling inside the feeder.
August 22, 2024: At 7:15 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen casually laying in the feeder, on top of some newspaper, watching the antics happening outside.
August 28, 2024:
- At 6:18 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen eating from the feeder.
- At 10:57 AM (LFT), Mr. Boba was seen eating from the feeder. As Ms. Side Bangs walked outside the feeder, he stopped and watched, then continued watching the other happenings outside.
