Mr. Blue is a cat who stays at Big Man's Cat Houses. He was named after his shiny gray coat which can look blue in certain lighting. He was originally a stray cat and has been brought inside the shelter while he waits for a new home.
Behavior
Mr. Blue is playful, a contrast to the other adult cats in the shelter. He enjoys the toys in the room and play-fighting with the cats, although is perhaps too rough for most of them due to the size difference. He is friendly when not playing and often sprawls out in the middle of the room. He is calm enough to wear outfits.
Mr. Blue enjoys the company of humans and will walk over to them when they enter the room, especially when they are holding food.
Appearance
Mr. Blue is a purely grey British Shorthair. He has a fluffy coat but is often shaved. Like the other shaved cats at the shelter, his tail takes the shape of a lion's near the end. His nose is purely black and he has yellow eyes.
Since August 31, 2024, Mr. Blue has worn a red collar with a yellow bell.
Sightings
July 2024
- July 19, 2024: In the morning, Mr. Blue sat with 4 other cats playing with one toy together.
- July 27, 2024: At 4:36 PM (LFT), Mr. Blue stood in the middle of the room looking at the door. He appeared to have been recently shaved.
- July 29, 2024: At 5:37 AM (LFT), Mr. Blue was sprawled along the floor close to a brown kitten.
- July 30, 2024: At 12:41 PM (LFT), Mr. Blue inspected the feeder while it was being refilled with food.
August 2024
- August 16, 2024: At 12:23 PM (LFT), Mr. Blue sat in the middle of the room and watched as cats were brought back into the room after having a bath.
- August 23, 2024: At 11:02 AM (LFT), Mr. Blue and a majority of the other cats gathered around a Caretaker who was giving out snacks. Later, at 11:17 AM, Mr. Blue and Ms. Companion tussled around the floor while play-fighting. Mr. Blue quickly lost interest and went to play with a feather toy. Unfortunately, Mx. Drizzle was lying down on the floor near the toy and Mr. Blue landed on them. They got angry at each other for a moment before calming down.
- August 24, 2024: At 10:43 AM (LFT), Mr. Blue sniffed an unnamed orange cat.
- August 26, 2024: At 4:59 PM (LFT), Mr. Blue gathered with many of the other cats around a Caretaker who was dishing out tuna.
September 2024
- September 1, 2024: At 2:55 PM (LFT), Mr. Blue, Ms. Suduri, and Ms. Pearl sniffed some potato that was recently placed inside the food bowl.
- September 6, 2024: At 2:20 PM (LFT), Mr. Blue and Ms. Companion supervised Coca-Cola who had managed to escape her cage. The older cats followed her around, although only seemed to cause her more stress due to their size. After a Caretaker caught Coca-Cola, Mr. Blue approached to sniff her more carefully.
