Mr. Swirly
Mr. Swirly is an orange cat that appears at Huanzi Animal Rescue Base. He can be seen at both Huanzi feeders quite a bit; however, he seems to show up slightly more to Huanzi Base 1, and hangs out there more. He was named for his cool swirly mustache. As his mustache can't always be seen easily in the feeder's lighting, it can sometimes be easy to confuse him with other cats. He was first seen by the global community on July 16, 2024.
Behavior
Mr. Swirly enjoys laying outside of the feeder. In his appearances, he can often be seen sitting or laying down to the left of the feeder (as seen through the front camera), either just relaxing or watching other cats come in and out. He sometimes likes to lounge inside the feeder as well. He enjoys eating, but isn't usually dead-set on doing so; when food drops, other cats often beat him to the bowl, and he doesn't seem to mind or push them out of the way. He will just go back to relaxing and watching them.
When he does eat, he is seen to have peculiar eating behaviors, similar to Mr. Paw. Mr. Swirly will pick up food with his mouth, then take his head out of the bowl and chew his food close to the ground. This slows down Mr. Swirly's eating pace, but he is still determined to eat, even more than Mr. Paw; one time, during the night, he was seen slowly eating, piece by piece, for 50 minutes.
Mr. Swirly does not seem to like Ms. Obsidian, as he has left when she showed up to the feeder more than once, and he has hissed at her for sniffing his butt.
Appearance
Mr. Swirly is an orange cat that appears similar to many of the other cats at the feeder. His most distinctive feature is the white on his face that looks like a swirly mustache. Another distinctive feature of his is his fluffy white chest. His orange connects on his chest, breaking up the sections of white on his underside, like on Mr. Diamond. He has white paws; the white extends further up his back legs than his front.
