Mr. Dao is a cat that frequents the Duck Feeder, and his first appearance date is not exactly known. He was first documented on March 10th, but he was spotted many times before then. Mr. Dao received his name from the yin-yang symbol on his forehead as "Dao" means "the path" and is associated with balance and harmony.
Behavior
Mr. Dao is a very sneaky cat, and can be found stealthily sneaking up on the feeder and other cats. Despite his tendency to spook the other cats (namely Mr. Horseshoe) he seems to be very polite and peaceful- but will greedily push other cats out of the way for some fresh snacks. He often inspects the feeder with sniffs and gentle prodding, just to make sure everything is working properly. It also seems that napping and relaxing at the feeder is one of his many past times.

Mr. Dao is mostly white, with some patches of black on his rear and his face. He also has a mustache similar to Mr. Squeeze, although Mr. Dao's frame is much smaller in addition to his grey and black striped tail that resembles a racoon.
Sightings
Mr. Dao was spotted many times at the Duck Feeder, but he was named when he appeared twice in the morning on March 10, 2024.
March 2024
- March 11, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted at the feeder at around 04:32 AM (LFT). Yesterday he had been seen interacting with Ms. Exclamation Mark like friends, but today he pushed her out of the feeder impatiently. She stayed beside him waiting for food while he ate, but Mr. Dao only moved when the feeder was empty.
- March 12, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted having a small snack.
- March 13, 2024: Mr. Dao appeared at 08:37 AM (LFT), sitting in his slightly chicken-like position. He was also spotted arriving with Ms. Exclamation Mark at 07:12 PM (LFT), waiting for Mr. Squeeze to finish at the feeder before sharing it between the two of them. Mr. Squeeze, who waited on the ledge beside the feeder for the pair to finish, left with them as a group.
- March 14, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted alongside another cat, and started eating after the other cat was scared off by the Kibble and Chicken snacks dropping.
- March 18, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted at 06:55 AM (LFT) and prodded at the feeder whilst taking some munches. He left at 07:00 AM (LFT)
- March 22, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted having an early morning snack at around 02:40 AM (LFT). He would occasionally pause and stare into the distance as fresh kibble was dispensed.
April 2024
- April 02, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted at 12:11 PM (LFT), he was initially alone, eating kibble and snacks until another (unknown) stray came from behind. Mr. Dao, however, scared off the other cat within minutes of their appearance.
- April 06, 2024: Mr. Dao spotted at 09:14 AM (LFT) happily eating some chicken
May 2024
- May 03, 2024: Mr Dao was spotted at 09:00 AM (LFT) watching Ms. Exclamation Mark feast for 8 minutes walking out slowly afterwards.
- May 09, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted watching Mr. Horseshoe lay in the feeder bowl at around 00:05 AM (LFT). He left after 5 minutes.
- May 12, 2024: Mr. Dao was spotted, waiting at around 01:20 AM (LFT), With Ms. Exclamation Mark joining in to eat, causing him to eat too.
- May 13, 2024: Mr. Dao was seen at 07:43 (LFT) getting some breakfast, waking up, and stretching for the day. He stayed for a while, enjoying his time and the people walking by.
- May 19, 2024: Mr. Dao was seen at 03:34 (LFT) getting some food, looking tired and getting into comfy positions while waiting for food
- May 22, 2024: Mr. Dao was seen around 01:17 (LFT) dining on some kibble, only to be interrupted by some falling snacks. of course, that couldn't stop him from consuming his assailants.
June 2024
- June 3, 2024: Mr. Dao appeared around 03:00 AM (LFT) waiting sleepily for some fresh snacks. After a big yawn, a viewer graciously donated some snacks which he happily gobbled up, before going on his way.
