Big Coal Ball is a cat from the Eat Enough Every Day (每天都能吃饱饱) feeder. He was named due to his large build and mostly black markings that make him resemble a large ball of coal. Big Coal Ball is thought to be a relative of the Coal Miners, or perhaps even their father, although he is never seen with them
Behavior
Big Coal Ball appears to be a bit of a loner, as he usually visits the feeder alone and for brief periods of time. However, he has recently been seen in the feeder at the same time as Ms. Granite and didn't seem to mind her presence, and was content to eat at the feeder in the presence of the Caretaker. Additionally, he has been seen hanging around the feeder while the Minerals were there, despite him never visiting any of his own children. Big Coal Ball has a strong preference for snacks, and will sometimes ignore kibble in favour of snacks, although he will eat kibble if it's the only thing available. He can be quite unhygienic, having pissed in the feeder on one occasion.
Appearance
Big Coal Ball is a large, mostly black cat with a small patch of white on his chest and some white on his underbelly. He has yellow eyes and a rather stern, sombre face. He is very large, much bigger than nearly every other cat to frequent the feeder, earning him his name.
Sightings
April 2024
- April 24, 2024: At around 08:50 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball was seen at the feeder.
- April 25, 2024: At approximately 07:39 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball ate at the feeder.
- April 30, 2024: Big Coal Ball showed up at the feeder at 11:15 PM (LFT), where he ate some kibble and pissed in the feeder before he left.
May 2024
- May 01, 2024: At around 05:16 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball ate at the feeder.
- May 03, 2024: Big Coal Ball ate at around 04:47 PM (LFT), then spent some time sitting outside the feeder.
- May 08, 2024: At around 07:44 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball ate at the feeder briefly before leaving. He later reappeared at 08:23 PM (LFT) to finish off the rest of the kibble.
- May 09, 2024: At 23:34 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball was seen eating snacks in the feeder.
June 2024
- June 04, 2024: Big Coal Ball was briefly seen in the feeder at 21:25 PM (LFT).
- June 12, 2024: At around 16:46 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball was briefly seen outside the feeder, although he did not enter it.
July 2024
- July 07, 2024: Big Coal Ball was seen starting sometime around 4:00 PM (LFT) waiting for food to be dispensed. He spent about an hour at the feeder, alternating between waiting (which he spent most of the time doing) and eating when able.
- July 08, 2024: At 17:37 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball approached the feeder. Upon noticing that the Minerals were eating in there, Big Coal Ball turned around and decided to rest on the path outside the feeder instead. He remained there even after the Minerals had vacated the feeder, then left a short time later.
- July 12, 2024: At around 16:20 PM (LFT), Big Coal Ball ate some snacks at the feeder. He kept pausing to look over his shoulder as he ate, although it was not clear what he was looking at.
